FAQs ADMISSION

Do you charge admission for parents and other spectators to watch?
Never during regular public skating sessions.  We’re happy you are here!  But everyone entering must make a $5 minimum token purchase to enter. These tokens can be used by anyone with you.
NOTE: Occasionally charitable groups and other organizations that host fundraisers at Bonaventure Family Skating Center may charge every person (adult or child) that is admitted.

If my friends come to skate, do I need to pay even if I’m only going to hang out?
Everyone entering the facility (with the exception of parents/grandparents watching their children) must pay the applicable admission plus skate rental fee or make the $5 minimum token purchase to enter.

Do you offer group rates?
Bonaventure Family Skating Center offers some discounted admissions packages that are great for groups. Or if you reserve a group of 25 or more paying as a group you may save on admissions.  For group reservations please call (248)476-2200 to see what is available.

Do you have special rates for School field trips?
Yes! Bonaventure Family Skating Center is the best place for you next school field trip.  Call (248)476-2200 for our field trip pricing.

Do you have discounts for summer groups?
Yes! We have special rates for summer camp groups, too.

FOOD

Do you sell food?
We sell a variety of snacks as well as fresh made pizzas, nachos, hot dogs, pretzels and more. We also serve Pepsi products, frozen drinks and fresh made coffee.

Can I bring in food from the outside?
We do not allow outside food or drink brought into our facility. The only exception to this would be a birthday cake. Birthday cakes are ALWAYS welcome!

MISCELLANEOUS

Do you sell gift certificates?
You may purchase a Bonaventure Family Skating Center gift card for any amount. These can be purchase daily for 12 to 5 from our business office or during any of our open skating hours.

Do you donate to non-profit organizations?
Bonaventure Family Skating Center will donate to most non-profit organizations.  You must submit your request in writing preferably 60 days prior to the event.  You may email your request to [email protected] or mail it to Bonaventure Family Skating Center, 24505 Halsted Rd, Farmington Hills, MI 48335.

Each request is reviewed, and if your request meets our requirements, we will contact you when your donation is ready for pick up. Please give us as many specifics about your organization as possible and information on how the donation will be used.

INTERNET

Do you have wireless internet available?
Yes, we do offer FREE wireless internet.  A pass code is required and can be picked up at the cashier office.

MUSIC

Do you take requests for songs?
Our DJs are glad to take your request and will make every effort to play your favorite songs.  Please note: we do have a Music Format for different age groups and sessions, and some requests may not be appropriate.

PLAYZONE

Is there a charge for my child to play in the Play Zone?
The Play Zone is a pay to play attraction.  Check our current schedule for pricing. Children must be 10 years or  younger to play in the Play Zone but parents can assist their young child at no charge..

PAYMENT

What form of payment do you accept?
We will accept cash, Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express.

We do not accept checks.

RENTAL SKATES

What type of Rental Skates do you have available?
We have both inlines and traditional quad skates available for rent. There is no rental price difference.

What sizes do you rental skates come?
We carry sizes juvenile 10 up to adult size 14. we also have Fisher Price clip on skates for younger skaters.

NEW SKATERS

If my child doesn’t skate well, can I walk on the floor to assist him/her?
We will allow you walk with your young child on the skate floor. We also have Skate Trainers for rent to help young beginning skaters with balance and confidence. Skate Trainers are always available for rent at the cashier’s window.

FUNDRAISERS

Can I do my own fundraising at a session?
Yes. We allow scheduled fundraisers during our open skate sessions. You must schedule in advance, so call at (248) 476-2200.

Can my school or group have a private fundraiser?
Yes. For private rink fundraising opportunities that can earn over 25% of the admission cost, please call (248) 476-2200.
